A prestigious Investment Bank is looking for high calibre Settlement Administrators to join their fast paced Equity Team.
You will join the Securities Lending Account management team who are responsible for the Equity Client Base in Europe.
This is a very busy and ambitious team which has seen stellar growth over recent months and successful candidates will see their initial contract period of 6 months become a permanent position.
Interviews are being scheduled ASAP for successful candidates and will be held the week commencing November 17th.
What you will be doing:
- Fails Management for external client base with the requirement to be in constant regular contact with Settlements Teams.
- Manage daily activities, monitor intraday controls, ensure adherence to deadlines, enforce quality standards and procedures are met.
-Monitor, agree and process daily exposures on the International Stock Loan book whilst adhering to specific client and market deadlines.
-Issue appropriate margin calls in order to cover exposure;
-Manage and maintain accuracy of client portfolio (rates, cash pool balances, security positions) using internal and external comparison utilities.
-Process payments and pre-advises in Cash manager and perform daily cash reconciliation support to the control team.
- Perform daily reconciliation of client security positions using internal systems to resolve differences and escalate any anomalies.
- Interaction with Street counterparts; Stock Loan & Equity Finance traders; Settlements; Corporate Actions; MLPF&S and other departments. Articulate concisely detail of trading activity and underlying risks whilst engaging all parties to ensure timely resolution of disputes.
-Maintain accurate static data for clients ensuring timely corrections are processed within market timeframes.
-Provide consistent support to Stock Loan Trading and Equity Finance desk.
- Ensure control and enforcement of compliance with FSA, Client Money and Money Laundering rules.
Who we are looking for:
- You must have at least 2 years Settlement Experience.
- You should have a good understanding of the Equity market.
