The Opportunity
A leading financial institution with award-winning expertise in Investment Management is looking to hire a Custody Supervisor due to continued organic growth of the business. The Role
The Custody Supervisor is responsible for a wide range of duties including ensuring proper servicing of investment portfolios by Operations and the Client Service Group. You will deputise for the Team Leader and act as a point of escalation for clients.
- Oversee a range of client relationships, ensuring all are running smoothly.
- Ensure the business is maximizing potential with all clients, in terms of offering new products and services.
- Participate in client service review meetings.
- Review board and management reports. Attend board meetings when required.
- Participate in internal review meetings with Operations and the Client Service team.
- Respond accurately and timely to internal and external audit requests
- Interview internal and/or external job applicants, when required
- Responsible for training and developing new staff members
Who You'll Be
- Third Level degree (preferably in a Finance field), Certificate in Mutual Funds or similar qualification
- Minimum of 4-5 years custody experience
- Experience of domestic and global settlement practices, with emerging markets experience a plus
- High degree of analytical ability
- Understanding of corporate actions
- Previous supervisory and people management experience
- An entrepreneurial nature
