The type of person they are looking for is a talented Senior Systems Analyst with a strong track record in understanding the needs and requirements of an organisation and being able to prioritise each phase of the project. This is a fast paced group that is using cutting edge technologies to create powerful tools and a best in class user experiences for our customers using Java based technologies
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate closely with the business stakeholders and the development team on plans, project management, requirements, design, testing, and implementation to provide systems solutions and coordinate overall delivery of technology services
* Working with Business Analysts and Users, assisting with the creation of Business Requirement documents
* Collaborate with other technologists to design technical specifications
* Work with external workplace clients and internal business stakeholders to resolve any issues that come out of their Development projects.
* Handle multiple projects and feature development tasks at the same time.
* Understand the web application related topics and be able to communicate technical concepts to the internal stakeholders inside and outside of the Development team.
* Create user acceptance test plans and execute testing for the SIT, SAT and UAT phases.
Qualifications/Experience:
* BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
* 5+ years of systems analysis & project management experience, with a focus in financial services applications
Skills and Knowledge:
* Demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Ability to understand technical concepts and be able to succinctly convey to partners
* Perform Technical Analysis of complex Web application development concepts (Enterprise Java, Spring, Spring Web Services, CSS, etc.)
* Analyze requirements, processes and solve business problems; Work through ambiguous situations.
* Medium-scale full project life cycle experience across multiple platforms and technologies
* SQL Experience
* Deep knowledge of development lifecycle methodology
* Excellent written and oral communication skills, both with customers, technical team members, and other technical contributors across the organization
* Ability to work effectively in global team distributed across geographic locations
