Junior Oracle DBA (Contract)

Harvey Nash is engaged in a project with KBC Bank who is one of the leading non-retail banks in Ireland. KBC are currently looking for a Junior Oracle DBA to join their growing team in their Dublin City Centre office.
Requirements
" Have 2/3 years experience in a production Oracle DBA role
" Oracle 10g and 11g database on Windows experience required
" Oracle 10g on Unix experience required
" Have good SQL, UNIX and windows scripting skills
" Oracle OCP certification an advantage

Responsibilities
" Installing and upgrading the Database and Application Supporting System Software and related Database tools.
" Maintenance of the security of the Database and Application Supporting System
" Maintenance of Database and Application Supporting System users and roles.
" Creating primary database storage structures Monitoring and optimising the performance of the Database and Application Supporting System
" Assisting developers in optimising their applications, queries, etc.
" Design, creation, and structural integrity of all database objects in the production environment that are used for business purposes.
