The Opportunity
One of the world's largest providers of financial services is establishing a new Reporting & Analytics Centre of Excellence in Dublin. The Financial Analyst will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing financial analysis and reporting that supports business knowledge and decision making
The Role
Reporting to the Director of Reporting & Analytics, you will lead preparation of financial reporting for Asset Management and other Fidelity business units, including analysis into variances and changes.
You will also:
* Lead month end reporting across multiple product lines and businesses for business drivers and metrics such as sales activity, transaction detail, conversions / de-conversions and future commitments. Prepare month-end operational reports evaluating and analyzing variances to previous periods, budget and forecast.
* Update financial reporting, budgeting, metrics and related analytics in support of Asset Management and other Fidelity business units
* Work proactively and collaboratively with finance partners to analyze business opportunities and trends. Partner with business to ensure the information provided through reports, presentation, and other communications provides the targeted answers to the pertinent questions/initiatives.
* Ensure controls and reviews are in place to ensure reporting is accurate, timely and informative.
Who You'll Be
* Highly motivated, detailed oriented, quality focused, team player with excellent process and organizational skills.
* Preferred understanding of financial services industry, plus some knowledge of drivers, strategy, and competitive landscape
* Demonstrated ability to lead project/work activities, drive process change and efficiencies, and manage multiple priorities
* BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
- 4-6 years of relevant experience
