Our client is looking to hire an experienced Contract UAT Test Lead to join their team within their Dublin City Centre office and to work for an initial period of 3 months.
Role
Designing test strategies, support projects, demonstrate an ability to design test phasing (UAT, Integration, Dress Rehearsal, BCP, Production Acceptance etc.) and the logical grouping of components to be tested.
Responsibilities
" Development of test specifications for business applications related development work to meet agreed business requirements.
" Manage the development of detailed test scripts, cases and other test collateral.
" Develop and lead detailed test plans for business applications related development work.
" Ensuring that all errors/issues are logged and addressed or the risk of errors is accepted by the relevant business management.
" Maintain well documented test audit trails with records of expected versus actual results.
Requirements
" Minimum of a 3-year track record of leading testing for complex business projects
" Experience working in a Banking or Financial industry
" Have a understanding of different test types (e.g. Functional, Negative, Regression, System Integration (SIT), User Acceptance (UAT), Risk and Usability Testing)
" Hold a relevant third-level qualification, preferably in a business discipline
" Be certified as ISEB and / or ISTQB qualified.
" Knowledge and prior experience of the Mortgage lending business would be an advantage.
