Our client are seeking to recruit a Senior Engineer (Infrastructure) for a Technical Team Lead permanent role based Dublin South
Ideal candidate will have involvement in monitoring, managing and troubleshooting cloud resources with key involvement in implementing technical infrastructure and operations, support of production hosting environments & maintenance of development services - Experience Leading teams
Key responsibilities:
* Working with teams to define and implement a cloud-based hosting solution.
* Act as technology expert on building technical requirements with a focus on cloud solutions
* Help to define the design, implementation and support of all Labs infrastructure and operational components - including cloud-based hosting, traditional on-premise hosting environments, development infrastructure (Linux, Apache, LDAP, JBoss, Tomcat, MySQL, Oracle, Postgres, Git and others)
* Deploy solutions in public, private, and hybrid clouds
Education & Experience required
* BA Computer Science (or similar)
* Must have experience deploying applications, Public/Private or Hybrid in one or more major IaaS cloud providers
* Deep understanding of critical cloud hosting/deployment concerns - Virtualization, High-Availability, Database horizontal scaling and failover, Upgrades/Patching, Backups
* Deep experience with one or more major cloud management and automation tools / Solid grasp of management scripting tools like Chef or Puppet
