Business Systems Analysts - Dublin Based
Harvey Nash is conducting a search for a mid level (5 years) and a senior level Business Systems Analyst with strong experience with client facing server and web development environments. This will require exposure to agile methodology and experience with the entire SDLC process.
The Principal Business Systems Analyst has the opportunity to work with cutting edge technologies and systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Gathering and clarifying business requirements and leading the systems design, requirements definition and documentation within a financial vertical.
Translate business requirements with/to a technical audience.
Provide technical leadership to junior teams.
Presentation to groups on technical subjects.
Communication of findings and project status to senior management.
Work across regions globally and locally
Qualifications
5+ years for mid-level role
10+ years for senior position
Business and systems analysis experience within the IT field, preferably with exposure to a financial services environment.
Experience with agile development methodologies.
Experience with Oracle & Data modelling tools,
Strong Experience with IBM's Websphere including:
Message Broker, ILOG Jrules, eXtreme Scale, Business Events, etc..
Experience using Rational Team Concert (RTC) or a tool with similar capabilities a plus...Experience with CRM a plus.
Web Applications/technology knowledge and expertise in SOA preferred.
Solid understanding of the software development process (SDLC).
Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.
