Financial Controller - Europe

Seeking a Financial Controller for the subsidiary of a large Irish Group with significant operations in Europe.

You will be responsible for managing the Finance function of their SME sized business in Western Europe. The role will report to the local Managing Director and Group Finance in Ireland.

The Role:

- Weekly and Monthly financial reporting.
- Commercial decision making, margin analysis and cost reduction.
- Weekly customer and product profitability reporting.
- Manage working capital.
- Management of foreign exchange exposures.
- Enhance operational system improvements.
- Manage a finance team.
- Work with the Managing Director in managing the business.
- Liaise with external advisors, auditors, insurers, bankers, etc.

The Person

- Qualified Accountant, with commercial Financial Control experience.
- Accountancy practice trained.
- Be self-driven and motivated.
- Experience of adding to the growth, value and success of a business.
- Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Experience of managing staff.
- Dedication and commitment are essential.
