Description:
The Business Data Analyst will work closely with the Database, User Interface (UI)engineers, Project Managers and Customers.... they will work to facilitate the development of user documentation and assist in the design of new UI components to support new requirements and help in improvement of platforms and processes
The Business Data Analyst will lead the requirements and analysis gathering for browser-based user interfaces. The role will require a strong focus on detail, quality, and design.
The ideal candidate will have good analysis, problem-solving and documentation skills coupled with strong motivation for working in a highly customer focused environment.
Excellent requirements capture skills are a necessity and the candidate should also possess a strong technical background. The ability to analyze, interpret and make recommendations is essential.
Experience in large scale reporting platforms with particular focus on data analysis is ideal.
Qualifications
· 5-6 years of IT delivery experience with excellent analysis, design and estimation skills.
· Experience with Agile methodology.
· Extremely strong data analysis skills
· Excellent customer facing skills - strong customer focus necessary for this role.
· Ability to coordinate user acceptance testing and customer pilots
· Excellent familiarity with Use Case preparation
· Customer Support skills
· Excellent interpersonal skills.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills.
· Highly motivated with willingness to take ownership / responsibility for their work.
· Demonstrable problem solving skills.
· Excellent documentation skills.
· Knowledge or exposure to reporting platforms would be an advantage, but not essential.![]()
