My client, an industry leading product development organisation, are seeking to build out their Galway based team. They are recruiting talented software engineers with a passion for technology to work on their next generation of enterprise software products and systems. Primary Responsibilities:
* Agile software development
* Design and develop distributed Java software applications / products
* Software integration
* Requirements analysis, client interaction
* Work with other disciplines including QA, Senior management, Support, etc.
* Excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills
Education and Experience:
* Enterprise Java/JEE development experience
* Academically proven
* Experience with Spring, Hibernate and open source technologies
Skills and Knowledge:
* Ability to work along, and within a team
* Demonstrate OO skills and comfortable implementing high quality Java based solutions, whilst following the best practices continuous integration and agile development.
* Keep up to date with industry standards and TDD
