Settlements Specialist - Investment Bank
You will provide timely settlement for equity securities in the major European Markets. The operations team in Dublin is responsible for middle and back office functions and plays a key role supporting trading desks and clients. You will develop your understanding of settlements and the investment banking industry in a busy and high-value-added environment. You will use networking skills to manage your relationships with custodian, clients, relationship managers, middle office representatives and information sources.
The Role:
- Ensure settlement of transactions for European markets.
- Taking the necessary action to ensure resolution of all failing trades.
- Ensure team work towards meeting quarterly fails targets.
- Escalation of potential risk and exposure.
- Monitor shared inbox to ensure all queries responded to within agreed SLA.
- Work as part of a team in providing support to colleagues.
- Ownership and resolution of assigned tasks.
The Person:
- Prior Banking Industry experience is essential.
- Ability to communicate clearly and precisely.
- Show a high level of commitment and professional work ethic.
- Ability to work under pressure and multi-task.
