Seeking a Financial Accountant for a high-profile Financial Services organisation in Dublin city centre.
The Role:
*Assist with the preparation of the annual audited financial statements and monthly management accounts.
*Preparation for Audit Committee meetings including presentation of year end financials to the Audit Committee for approval.
*Preparation of annual budget.
*Administration and monitoring of expenses, including management and reporting of expenses against budget.
*Regulatory reporting to external parties including the CSO and Central Bank.
*Assist in the co-ordination and management of internal and external audits.
*Ongoing financial support services to the management team including providing analyses and reports on fund activity.
*Liaising with the investment team regarding performance of the Fund and ongoing investment activity.
*Assist with ongoing relationship management and operational monitoring of key service areas including fund accounting and transaction settlement.
*Performance of daily monitoring controls on the key activities including custody and cash management.
*Assist with operational management of fund ransitions.
*Administration of a daily cash sweep with the custodian, including daily confirmation and settlement.
*Fund manager valuation reconciliation.
The Person:
*Recently qualified accountant with financial services experience, ideally including fund administration, custody, audit and/or accounts preparation.
*Experience of working in a team and reviewing the work of others is required.
*Ability to work on own initiative and adapt quickly to a challenging role.
