Assistant Accountant - Spanish - Financial Services

Seeking candidates with Financial Services experience and fluent Spanish for a major Financial Services organistation in County Wicklow. This is a permanent job with a highly successful Global Bank in expansion and merger phase. This position will support a recent joint venture with a Spanish Bank.

The Role:

- Management of Balance Sheet accounts and risk analysis.
- Preparation of MIS reporting.
- Supporting Operations.
- Review of operational processes to minimise risk.
- Manage the month end process to ensure all tasks are completed within SLA.
- Work with the Regulatory Reporting team to manage liquidity exceptions.
- Support function for both Internal & External Audits.
- Financial Settlement on projects.

The Person:

- Degree educated.
- PQ Accountant, but not essential.
- Experience working in a multicurrency finance department.
- Fluent Spanish.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Attention to detail at all times.
- Ability to deliver to tight deadlines without compromising on quality.
- A good team player, with the ability to act independently.
