My client is a leading multinational in the Cork area and due to expansion are looking to recruit experienced Senior Web Administrators.
The persons would be required to work on different web technologies like apache/tomcat/SpringSource/weblogic/siteminder/ldap etc as a part of a team. The person will also need to participate in on call rotations for 24/7 support for production systems & will be responsible for the upkeep of those systems. The job also requires working with different infrastructure organizations like server teams, networking, security, monitoring etc to host web sites & ensure proper availability of those web sites.
The person would be responsible to attend to customer's request to build infrastructure for new web sites, deploy codes,make the website available to users, monitor the sites & provide 24/7 support for production web sites using monitoring tools & technologies. The person should also be capable of independently troubleshoot & resolve complex infrastructure & middleware problems & also debug application issues & work with development teams for long term resolution of issues.
Proven experience in any three of these web technologies like
1. apache
2. Tomcat
3. Weblogic
4. IIS/.NET
5. SpringSource tcServer
6. Ruby, cgi, perl and php
7. Jboss
8. Siteminder
9. Hyperic
10. Node.js
Exposure/Experience in Oracle Fusion Middleware platforms like SOA suite 11G, Oracle ADF is preferred
Overall familiarity with related platforms like Linux, load balancers, firewalls, web service security, XML firewalls etc would be preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related streams would be preferred
