My client, a leading multinational company in Cork are expanding and wish to recruit an experienced Senior IT Engineer.
Contract: 12 month
Day Rate: EUR300 -EUR400
Responsibilities:
· Provide tier1, tier2 and tier3 support for supported lines of businesses.
· Provide license support for end users, including: debug of FlexLM license environment, installation of new keys on demand and maintenance of FlexLM options files.
· Act as change agent to evolve existing Engineering Compute standards (globally) to meet specific/updated business requirements.
· Manage multiple concurrent projects with strong communication, written, customer service and organizational skills. Presentation skills a plus.
· Excellent customer service skills
Experience:
5+ years experience in a similar position
Skills:
IT, unix/linux/solaris system administration, windows administration, LSF, NFS, hardware design, data centre management, IT operations, information security, EDA/CAD, JIRA, scripting (PERL/BASH), FlexLM, LSF License Scheduler a plus, knowledge of CDMA, GPS and chipset design a plus.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering and/or Information Technology or equivalent experience
