Title; Software & Project Manger - Mobile

A leading financial services business has engaged Harvey Nash to secure the services of an experienced senior software and projects manager to take responsibility for a core business area critical to their growth. This position will have overall delivery management responsibilities for the online / digital / mobile channel and will provide support and contribute to architecture decisions for developed solutions in this core business area. As delivery manager you will be required to understand and contribute to the digital strategy and set and delivery the technical roadmap to support this.
This is a long term contract with the opportunity for perm conversion at a later stage if desired.

Essential Experience:
* Experience of delivery of Online / Mobile / Digital solutions in financial services (preferred)
* Formal third level qualification
* Previous experience of using Agile project management and agile development methodology is essential
* Strong people management experience
* Ability to influence and manage expectations
Technical experience;
* Experience with solutions based on Android and / iOS mobile Frameworks, Java / Object C background
* Experience in cross-platform development projects
* Experience of system integration using Web services (SOAP and REST) and JMS
* Strong OO skills
* Excellent problem analysis and creative solution-building skills
