Role: Senior Software Engineer - Java
Duration: 6 months
Location: Galway
Daily Rate: EUR380 - EUR400
Very interesting Java contract position open with a leading technology company, based in Financial Services. This position will see you join an already established team working on the design, development and implementation of a directory intranet site. This is a highly used application and is viewed as a key tool by business users. You will work closely with project managers, design team, other developers and QA testers to understand requirements and develop appropriate solutions.
Key Skills:
* A minimum of 5 years' experience with Java (J2EE) and related technologies
* Experience using JavaScript frameworks (JQuery, Prototype, YUI)
* Experience working with UI technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS) in a multi-browser environment
* Experience using Oracle DB is desirable
* Experience working on prototypes is desirable
