The Business
The Senior BA will work with internal and external business partners/clients in the analysis, definition and documentation of business and functional requirements.
Essential Duties
- Recommend technology investment initiatives to meet business goals and reduce overall costs of services.
- Research solutions available to determine how they can be effectively applied to meet relevant business goals.
- Agree business requirements relating to technology changes with the business management and ensure that the requirements are specified accurately at both summary and detail level.
- Prepare project initiation documentation including business cases.
- Test that the business functionality of technology changes meets business requirements prior to release for user testing.
- Coordinate user testing and implementation of technology changes.
- Provide “train the trainer” service in relation to technology changes.
- Lead post implementation reviews to evaluate the success of a technology change at meeting the specified business requirements.
- Ensure a close working relationship is maintained with business users and suppliers.
- Adhere to relevant methodologies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislative, regulatory, audit and licensing requirements.
