My client a leading employer in Limerick currently requires a permanent Technical Writer.
Responsibilities
•Design, develop and maintain customer documentation for telecommunication systems. •Liaise with software development teams to identify key documentation project deliverables and produce documentation estimates based on key deliverables. •Design, develop and maintain Online Help files for deployment with web-based applications. •Co-ordinate document reviews with software development teams. •Conform to documentation standards and practices set by the documentation team. •Manage customer documentation portal. •Prepare pre-sales documentation and assist with marketing material. •Review customer documentation for peer writers.
Requirements
•Third level degree in related discipline. •3 + years experience in a Technical Writing role. •Excellent written and verbal communication skills. •Knowledge of job-associated software (FrameMaker, RoboHelp, MS Office).
