IS&TR main tasks include centralized security administration, application testing, malware prevention and monitoring functions accross all platforms.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day Operational support for various security products including:
Provide appropriate response to system and customer generated invident tickets
Analyzing a diverse range of complex problems to identify solution options
Working with distributed groups to implement best option
Defining and recommending process improvement initiatives
Work with IS&TR colleagues to create system deployment plans for enterprisewide technical solutions
Work with partner technology teams to deploy technical solutions to fulfil service requests.
Design and documentation of troubleshooting and support procedures.
Coordinate systems installations, upgrades and configuration of infrastructure changes.
Provide reports on system and service performance metrics
Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree from a technical program preferred
Specialist security training, for example CISSP or Security + an advantage
Experience of supporting anti-virus or compliance products an advantage
Skills and Knowledge
A good understanding of security concepts and the ability to implement solutions based on authentication, authorization, confidentiality and availability
Strong knowledge of UNIX and Linux operating systems
Good networking infrastructure knowledge including a strong understanding of TCP/IP and DNS
Experience in supporting enterprise wide applications (not necessarily in the IT security space) preferred
