The Opportunity
We're looking for an Experienced Manager who is looking to move to the next level in their career. You will be joining a Leading Global Financial Services firm and will work on a New Global Initiative within their Operations Department.
The Role
The Operations Director will lead a new initiative to establish a productive relationship with a new key partner, to build a skilled, innovative and high performance team, and to seek opportunities to develop a strong partnership between the two organizations. This role will provide leadership for the Operations business team in Ireland and will report into the Head of Operations & Corporate Shared Services in Ireland, and dotted line into the respective Operations partner groups in the US.
This team will work in close partnership with the various Operations business teams spread across the globe and in some areas is expected to work closely with co-located technology groups.
You will provide leadership to a newly assembled team in broad domain areas. Facilitate leadership meetings, steering committee meetings, process change and implementation meetings. Develop strong, collaborative relationships with key business partners
Who you'll be
• Third level qualification in a business or operations discipline • 10+ years’ experience, including experience in a management capacity for a high performing operations team• 5 years experience in a people management role (including performance management, mentoring, coaching, etc.)• Experience in the Defined Contribution or benefits administration industry is a plus• Broad knowledge of the business’ functions, processes and systems• Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills• Experience with advanced analysis techniques (e.g., process mapping, data mining) is advantageous• Strong track record of project and people management with complex deliverables that impact business operations• Flexibility to travel
Salary for this role will be in the region of 90-100k with 25% bonus
