Seeking a Finance Manager for a newly created role with a rapidly growing company in South Dublin. You will report to the CFO and be responsible for the accurate and timely production all financial accounts, budgets and forecasts together with managing the month-end close process. It is a key role to support the successful growth of the business and will have 2 direct reports.
The Role:
- Financial Accounts, Controls, Systems and Processes.
- Liaison with auditors on production of year-end audited accounts.
- Ensure PO processes are adhered to and costs controlled.
- Make recommendations for changes and improvement in financial controls.
- Lead the SAP implementation to ensure smooth transition of company accounts onto SAP.
- Manage payment of all VAT and other relevant local taxes.
- Improve and develop the month-end close process.
- Ensure accurate monthly financial information is recorded in the financial system.
- Ensure key account reconciliations are performed on a timely basis.
- Own develop and improve the budgeting model, together with building a 3-year planning model.
- Communicate and manage the budget and reforecast process with all internal stakeholders.
- Prepare all presentations for CFO to make to the board.
- Prepare all KPI targets for individuals and departments.
- Provide ad-hoc commercial support to the CFO on any projects and potential acquisitions.
- Improve the accuracy and relevance of monthly management information.
The Person:
- Qualfied Accountant with first time exam passes, preferably ACA or CIMA.
- 2-3 years post qualification experience.
- Strong technical accounting skills.
- Excellent excel modeling skills, with ability to interpret detailed data.
- Ability to manage own priorities and learn the business quickly.
- Effective people management experience.
