Seeking a high calibre Accountant for a broad role with a high profile internet multinational based in Dublin city centre.
The position will initially be offered on an 11 month contract basis with a view to permanency.
The Finance team is best in class and provide a value-add service as the transaction accounting is outsourced. This role sits in a Technology Finance team which handles all the hardware and infrastructure projects for EMEA.
The Role:
- You will be responsible for process improvements, audit support and projects within the Fixed Asset and Capital Projects area for EMEA.
- You will ensure that processes and systems are aligned and that a culture of continuous process improvement exists.
- You will also be involved in month end close process and be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely reporting with the Fixed Assets Accountants.
- Working on projects to review current processes, identify process improvements and documentation of processes to yield efficiency through automation, standardisation and outsourcing.
- Business partner with wider global finance team.
- Audit support for Fixed Asset and Project queries, both internal and external audits
The Person:
- Qualified Accountant, Top 10 ACA preferred.
- Previous experience with US multi-national/SSC or a Big Four firm a plus.
- Project/process improvement experience.
- Excellent technical accounting skills.
- Oracle 11i experience a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Advanced Excel.
