Senior Oracle Engineer

Our client, operating within the financial services industry, is seeking a Senior Software engineer to join their talented team. The ideal candidate will have excellent coding and performance tuning skills to contribute to database application development. This great opportunity will give the ideal candidate the chance to add to their existing experience and gain exposure to agile methodologies.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Database Development, primarily in Oracle PL/SQL.
* Shell programming in Linux.
* Create Technical specs, Unit test cases, Transition and Operational Documents.
Requirements:
* BS or MS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
* Proven experience in Oracle PL/SQL development and Oracle 10g / 11g
* Experience with version control code management, example clearcase
* Strong analytical skills, excellent problem solving ability and highly motivated
* Knowledge of Microsoft .NET environment is highly desirable.
