Senior Java Developer - contract

Role: Senior Java Developer
Rate: EUR400
Duration: 6 months
Location: Dublin City Center

I have an opening for a Senior Java Developer on an initial 6 month contract with the view to extension. This position would see you working on a number of internal applications, based in financial services delivering technical solutions for secure, mission critical systems primarily in Java on a J2EE platform. You will be involved in the development and roll-out of a full road-map of functional additions to the systems.

Technical Skills:
* 5+ years of Java/J2EE development experience
* Some experience working with database technologies (preferably Oracle)
* Experience with the Spring framework
* Some experience with Webservices, Hibernate and JSF is desirable
* Some security experience would be highly desirable (HTTPS, SSL, Data encryption)

Non-technical skills:
* Good interpersonal and communication skills
* Excellent time management and prioritizing skills
* Good team player
* Ability to work on own initiative
