Contract Oracle Developer - KBC Bank

Harvey Nash is engaged in a project with KBC Bank who is one of the leading non-retail banks in Ireland. KBC are currently looking for Contract Oracle Developers to join their growing team in their Dublin City Centre office.

The engagements will last a minimum of 6 months with a strong possibility of extension for 12 months +.

The role will involve the Design, Development and Unit-Test of Oracle forms, reports and PL/SQL.

Responsibilities
" Creation of functional and technical specifications in line with the business requirements
" Development of UNIX shell scripts
" Monitoring and investigating system issues
" Identifying, communication problems and creating solutions
" Co-ordinate with system administrators during the implementation stages.

Requirements
" Experience working on PL/SQL, forms, reports and UNIX
" Minimum of four years Oracle experience within an IT environment
" Proven capability to work in a team-oriented environment
" Experience of managing 3rd party applications related service providers
