Senior Java Developer - Mobile

Harvey Nash is engaged in a project with KBC Bank who is one of the leading non-retail banks in Ireland. KBC are currently looking for Senior Java Developers with mobile experience to join their growing team in their Dublin City Centre office.

Role
To develop, make enhancements to and support the various systems working primarily on the Online Banking system. Development of Website and Mobile banking applications and integration with processing systems.

Duties and Responsibilities
" Design, Development and Unit-Test of Java applications
" Deliver technical solutions for mission critical systems primarily in Java on a J2EE platform
" Integration in an Apache / JBoss / Oracle DB / Mysql DB / environment
" Development of Java scripts
" Creation of functional and technical specifications in line with business requirements
" Provision of support services in accordance with agreed SLAs

Requirements
" Have eight or more years of Java experience in an IT environment. Financial services experience is desirable.
" Proven experience with mobile app development required
" Experience with Spring Framework, Web Services, Hibernate and JSF essential
" Third level qualification (preferably in IT)
" Have a proven track record and capability to work closely with business users in a team-oriented environment.
