Our client is a well-established, international market-leading consumer product specialist. The business has grown exponentially in recent years - organically, acquisitively and through joint ventures and has a sound financial platform to now push for even greater commercial goals and international growth. To ensure this happens there is now a need to recruit a Head of Commercial Planning and Development to work closely with the CEO in a number of different areas that relate to the management and optimisation of the Retail and B2B businesses in 9 countries. This role is a great opportunity to join a growing, profitable business and play a key role in shaping its future.
The Opportunity
*Working with the CEO you will develop a standardised business reviews process and assist countries/regions in its implementation
*Define/implement business monitoring tools and reports where necessary. You will manage the annual retailer T&C’s approval process
*Define business best practices for both Retail and B2B and manage implementation/usage by regions/countries
*Work with the CEO on various business development projects
Your Credentials
*You will have a proven track record of delivery in a high profile commercial environment where you have worked closely with key decision makers
*You will be able to demonstrate a high level of commercial acumen, judgement and decision making and have strong narratives around where you have brought organisation and process to commercial tasks
*Strong team player and able to work in a matrixed enviroment
*Results orientated with strong engagement and influencing skills to create, drive and sustain effective change within the organisation
