Seeking a (Mid Level) Devops Engineer to work with a recent startup in a fun, casual work environment where results are what matters, not what hours you work!
Minimum 3 years experience with Windows System Administration
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft server technologies including Windows Server,
IIS, SQL Server and Active Directory.
* Fluency in Powershell scripting or a similar scripting language
* Experience automating builds, releases and deployments from source code
repositories
* Expertise in design, building, scaling and managing infrastructures hosted on
AWS, with in-depth knowledge of products such as EC2, RDS, VPC, S3, etc.
The Position:
* Automate each stage of the build, test and deployment cycles
* Ensure that development, test, integration and production environments operate
smoothly
* Oversee change control, configuration and release management processes
* Manage and optimize key processes including continuous integration
* Own and actively manage and improve our internal and hosted infrastructure
* Promote best practices and operational efficiency across our technology team
Nice to have:
Tools like Puppet, Chef, Vagrant and Docker
Manage Linux servers and infrastructure
Experience with continuous integration and version control systems such as Jenkins, Travis, Mercurial and Git
