Role: Websphere Message Broker - Developer
Location: Dublin
Daily rate contract
* Build and unit test of the Message Broker flows
* Responsible for building and unit testing the Message Broker flows, deploying BAR Files to the different test environments, liaising with the test team and ADS in the process
* Responsible for building the perl scripts both on SAA and the CTI Adaptor
* Promote code to System Test Environment and thereafter, provide Release Notes to the test teams to enable them get their environments set up.
* This will include what code is to be promoted, what tables to be set up and providing the DDL, along with any MQ Queues which are to be set up, scripts to be deployed or subscriptions to be set up.
* Provide support during shakedown of test environments.
* Provide support during the various test phases to both identify bugs and provide fixes for them.
* Liasise with IBM and provide all the necessary documentation to enable them to install and or deploy applications / Bar Files, tables and scripts in pre-production and production environments.
* Provide information to the Change Approval Board to enable them determine the exposure to the Bank of implementing the change.
* Provide input to the schedule of implementation (run book) and identify any prerequisites and post implementation validation required.
* Provide support to IBM during implementation and verify tasks are completed successfully. Some of which is carried out at unsocial hours.
* Provide support on the Production Environment for a period of time following new deployments.
* Respond to business queries during this support phase.
Experience
Has an indepth knowledge of the following technologies:-
* Websphere Message Broker, WMB Developers Toolkit
* Websphere MQ, MQ Explorer, RFHUTIL
* ISO20020 / SEPA STEP2, SWIFT
* ORACLE, SQL Developer
* Database Design
* XML/XSD
* ClearCase A5
* Perl Scripts
