The type of person they are looking for is a talented Systems Analyst with a strong track record in understanding the needs and requirements of an organisation and being able to prioritise each phase of the project. The successful candidate will be a part of their web technologies middle-ware team.
The team is very much agile focused and needs someone who is looking to progress career wise.
Responsibilities:
* Requirements gathering and leading the systems design effort
* Manage priorities and be able to work on a number of projects concurrently
* Provide technical leadership to junior members
* Proactively work under minimum direction
* Communicate findings and project status to management
Qualifications/Experience:
* 2+ years’ systems analysis experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar field
* Strong organisational and problem solving abilities
* Excellent communication skills
Skills and Knowledge:
* Applications/technology knowledge and expertise in web applications.
* SQL expertise.
* Agile development methodologies.
* Experience with trading systems, mutual funds, investment professional and shareholder sites is a plus.
* Solid understanding of the software development process including analysis, design, coding, testing, problem resolution and planning.
