Operations Support Engineer

Our client have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Operations Support Engineer for a permanent role
Location: Munster / Limerick
Salary: Negotiable

Key responsibilities will involve - troubleshooting of GSM/CDMA networks, involvement in Solution design and Project Planning along with pre-shipping installation and system test
" System installation and commissioning on customer's sites / System acceptance testing and handover to customers
" Design and Delivery of customer training / Creation and maintenance of Customer Support documentation
" Reporting

Required skillset:

- Strong experience in Server Installation and commissioning including 'Blade' architectures
- Unix(Solaris) and Linux O/S Installation and Administration
- Telecommunication and signalling systems including SS7, Sigtran , MAP, SMPP, GPRS, INAP
- Database Administration / Basic IP/Switch configuration (Cisco, Juniper etc)
- Web Service configuration/administration (Apache/Tomcat)
- Scripting / Knowledge of 3GPP PCC Architecture
Relevant degree, 3+ years industry experience
- Strong Oral and written communications skills
