Title: Business Analyst
Functional area: IT Applications Support Analyst
Location: Dublin
Term: 6 month rolling contract
Summary:
Our client has an opportunity (6 month rolling contract) for a Business Analyst with a focus on IT Applications Support Analysis. This will require some investment management industry experience. The BA is responsible for strategies around the design, development, maintenance and support of our investments systems such as Reconciliation, Corporate Actions, Static Data Maintenance & Data Loader apps.
Responsibilities:
" Become a focal point of contact for all Investments Staff using existing Applications.
" Provide business analyst skills (such as documentation) to manage enhancements to applications.
" Build an overall understanding of the functionality provided by the applications
" Provide business support for application users by responding to queries in a timely manner and maintaining contact through issue resolution.
" Provide administration support for existing Applications with regards to permission settings and access levels.
" Identify and resolve issues according to agreed processes liaising with development teams where necessary.
Experience:
" The ideal candidate should have experience in a support analyst role within the investment management industry.
" Knowledge of financial instruments and the workflow between front, middle and back office applications would be an advantage.
" Experience in use of Incident tracking software tools is a must.
" Candidate is required to be proficient in SQL.
