Application Support Engineer

Our client are seeking to recruit an Application Support Engineer with 2 + years' experience for a permanent role - responsibility for managing and maintaining test, production and internal systems.
Supporting the management and deployment of all applications & monitoring and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
Location: Dublin
Salary: 30-40k

Role responsibilities:
* 1st line support on the production systems / Maintaining and updating the monitoring systems
* Incident management, resolution and escalation of issues on all environments
* Troubleshooting issues on all applications
* Managing the deployment process to ensure successful deployment of new systems, software and upgrades
* Maintain the documentation set on all applications and systems

Key Attributes
* Fluent in English
* At least 2 years' experience in an Application Support role
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience
* Strong scripting skills (Powershell, VB, Windows command line)
* Experience supporting applications in C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server
* Experience of supporting Database, Web and Mobile applications
* SQL Query skills (MS SQL Server and MySQL)
* Working knowledge of Windows Server (2003, 2008, 2008 R2)
* Experience of MS SQL Server reporting services
* Basic network troubleshooting / Knowledge of automated deployment tools
* Knowledge of Linux
* Experience working in a 24*7 production environment
* Excellent communication skills / Ability to work under pressure
