Accountant (Liquidation / Restructuring) - Dublin
11 Month Assignment
Location: Dublin
Basic Salary: EUR45-55k + VHI, Pension, paid leave, meals, gym, events, etc.
Harvey Nash has an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant with strong corporate finance experience. In particularly this role is suitable to those who have experience in supporting teams managing liquidation and restructuring initiatives.
You will be joining one of our top clients for the duration of 11 months. The company is a leading global provider of advertising platforms online with additional portfolio of online services and products. State of the art facilities and awesome culture (far from general corporate office environment).
Finance teams require a number of chartered accountants to join their teams and:
" Perform daily, weekly and monthly accounting functions related to Integration and Elimination of acquired entities
" Follow local and US GAAP rules such as: BS and P&L accounting and flux analysis
" Assist with month end close process and reporting, general accounting and tax fillings and all related statutory obligation
" Perform accounts payable and GL reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial statements and accurately record and maintain all payroll activities in finance systems including GL, payrolling entries and reconciliations
" Perform daily cash control, daily AP functions, bank reconciliations and provide weekly cash flow forecast of funding needs to Corporate Treasury ensuring efficient and accurate finance processes and controls are in place according to the corporate policies
" Manage relationships with third-party entities such as banks, accounting firms and third party suppliers in matters related to the Accounting, Treasury and AP activities and help to execute projects to localize financial systems
Preferred qualifications:
" BA/BSc degree with min 2.1
" ACCA / ACA or equivalents
" Few years of experience in Big 4 (highly preferable) or local subsidiary of US multinational
" Solid understanding of local and US GAAP
" Oracle 11i experience a plus
" Capacity for critical thinking and analysis
" Strong attention to detail
" Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
" Strong work ethic - team player
