Sharepoint Developer - Contract

We are currently recruiting for a Senior SharePoint Developer for our clients KBC Bank. This role will involve participation in the full project life cycle. You will be involved in the analysis, design, development, testing and documentation of software projects.

Duties and Responsibilities
" Primary responsibility for the Analysis, design, development and deployment of software solutions and components based on Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2010.
" Development of Custom SharePoint WebParts, custom lists and libraries and event handlers.
" Interfacing with K2 (workflow and task management system) to deliver application solutions
" Development of applications from detailed design specifications
" Production maintenance and support
" Interacting with Business users
" Responsible for code reviews and ensuring coding standards are followed
" Lead Developer on assigned Software projects.

Requirements

" 5 years development experience
" At least 3 of those years in .NET 3.5 experience of the following: - C#, ASP.NET
" Visual Studio
" IIS
" Minimum 2 years hands on experience of MOSS 2010 implementations including; configuration, deployment and development of custom WebParts.
" Experience with designing and implementation of document management and collaboration solutions based on MOSS or WSS
" Experience of using SharePoint Designer
" Experience with OO design and implementation techniques
" MS SQL Server experience essential
" Oracle database 10g
" Web development experience
" Excellent written/verbal skills
" Practical experience of the design and development of multi-layer applications
" Experience working with interface components
" Some experience from the financial services/banking/insurance industry sectors
